Outcome Disclaimer

Statements, testimonials, and examples on this website were provided by satisfied clients in confidence and are not intended to represent or guarantee that anyone will achieve the same or similar results. Every effort has been made to accurately represent our mentoring products and services and their possible potential. Contract Mentoring™ is hard work and an individual’s and a couple’s therapeutic outcome depends on the client’s desire, dedication, effort, and motivation. A couple’s outcome is also determined by both individual’s willingness and desire to be in the relationship. There is no guarantee you will duplicate any of the results stated in the Contract Mentor™ website. Major contraindications for doing a full course of Emotionally Focused Contract Mentoring™ at Contract Mentor™ include anything that would block safe engagement between partners, for example: an ongoing affair, addiction, or violence in the relationship. In the event a Contract Mentor™ “Mentor™” determines one or more of these contraindications is present they will be obligated to conduct a professional consultation and follow best practice protocol and make an appropriate referral.

Now and then we find that a client may attend sessions reluctantly or determine Contract Mentoring™ is not for them. Sometimes clients learn things about their situation and decide they would prefer not to proceed with couples’ Contract Mentoring™. In such cases, clients get little or no favorable results from their sessions. Therefore, the client testimonials we are sharing can neither represent nor guarantee the current or future experience of other past, current, or future Contract Mentor™ clients. Research studies find that 70-75% of couples move from distress to recovery and approximately 90% show significant improvements. Any and all forward-looking statements on our website, however, are intended to express our opinion of possible outcomes. Many factors will be important in determining your actual results and no guarantees are made that you will achieve similar results.

Cancellation, Re-Schedule, Refund Policy

Contract Mentor™ and its affiliated Mentors™ and support staff are diligent about setting appointments that are convenient to the client and in alignment with best professional practice. When an appointment is scheduled, that time is reserved for the client. Contract Mentor™ requires a full 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules. If you choose, for any reason not to attend or choose to reschedule an appointment without providing 24 hr. advance notice, full fee will be charged unless this involves a life-threatening emergency.

If you participate in a Mentoring Initial Consultation (90 min.) and within 30 days of the appointment, you determine you are not satisfied with the information and experience provided, you will receive 100% of your money back. If you do not cancel your Wellness Initial Consultation within 24 hrs. or do not attend, you forfeit the right to claim this guarantee and full fee will be charged. If, after your Wellness Initial Consultation, you proceed to additional sessions, either individual or couple, Contract Mentor™ will assume you were satisfied with the information and experience provided in your Wellness Initial Consultation and that you have forfeited the right to claim this guarantee.

Emotionally Focused Contract Mentoring™ is a relatively brief form of Contract Mentoring™ for couples. The standard is 12-20 mentoring sessions; more if there is a dire need or other presenting issues. At Contract Mentor™ we have found 16 sessions to be optimal for most of our clients and we follow this protocol with the understanding that more or fewer sessions may be preferable for your situation. In the event you and your Mentor™ determine a shorter course of mentoring is appropriate, Contract Mentor™ will make billing adjustments and/or you may request a refund for any unused sessions. Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the appointment of reference and processing time for refunds is 6 weeks from date of request.
