01

Terms of Use

ContractMentor helps adults describe objectives, identify potentially relevant experience, evaluate mentor profiles, and form structured mentoring engagements. You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and use the service lawfully.

ContractMentor is a mentorship, education, information, and human-experience platform. It is not emergency assistance. It does not automatically create a physician-patient, therapist-client, attorney-client, fiduciary, financial-advisory, or other regulated professional relationship. A separate written agreement may be required when licensed professional services are offered.

Users retain responsibility for their decisions. Mentors must describe experience and credentials accurately, honor stated boundaries, and avoid guarantees. ContractMentor may review, restrict, suspend, or preserve accounts and records when reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, legal obligations, disputes, system integrity, or enforcement.

02

Privacy Policy

ContractMentor collects the information required to create and protect accounts, clarify objectives, support matching, manage engagements, deliver messages, record consent, maintain security, process authorized payments, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Private objectives and engagement records are not public by default.

LiveBios, Ask Norm, and ContractMentor remain separate service lanes. A shared master identity may recognize the same person across approved services, but service content crosses a boundary only through an explicit permission or another lawful, disclosed basis. ContractMentor does not merge identities solely because network addresses are similar.

Private engagement message bodies are encrypted at rest. Access is limited to authorized participants and approved restricted personnel when necessary. Records may be retained for active service, security, disputes, legal holds, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, and lawful compliance. Users may submit appropriate access, correction, export, and deletion requests, subject to lawful retention and safety exceptions.

03

Artificial Intelligence Policy

ContractMentor uses a separate AI mission lane to clarify objectives, propose useful experience requirements, prepare questions, support explainable matching, and assist engagement preparation and follow-up. AI output is a proposal, not a verified fact or credential. A user must accept a needs-assessment proposal before it becomes part of matching.

AI may be wrong or incomplete. It must not invent mentors, licenses, employment, accomplishments, evidence, or qualifications. It does not replace human judgment or licensed professional service. Sensitive public preview content is not saved to a ContractMentor account, but it is processed to produce the requested response.

04

Mentorship and Professional Boundaries Policy

Mentorship transfers lived experience, perspective, practical knowledge, and judgment. It does not guarantee outcomes. Each engagement should identify its objective, scope, duration, communication method, price where applicable, confidentiality expectations, cancellation terms, and professional boundaries.

Licensed professionals must identify applicable jurisdiction, license status, and whether an offering is mentorship-only or a separate regulated service. ContractMentor may require additional review or disclosures. Recording or transcription requires the explicit consent of every person whose consent is legally required.

05

Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds Policy

No charge may occur unless a governed offering or engagement price, approved provider configuration, verified checkout event, and applicable acceptance requirements are complete. ContractMentor does not store complete payment-card numbers. Provider-verified payments, platform fees, mentor payouts, receipts, adjustments, refunds, and entitlements must be recorded in the governed commerce ledger.

The engagement or offering states the applicable cancellation and refund terms. Disputed or requested refunds remain subject to the agreed terms, provider rules, completed work, applicable law, fraud review, and any approved exception. A pending engagement proposal is not a charge.

06

Acceptable Use and Safety Policy

Do not use ContractMentor for fraud, impersonation, harassment, exploitation, discrimination, credential fabrication, dangerous professional claims, payment evasion, unlawful surveillance, unauthorized disclosure, review manipulation, identity theft, malware, or interference with the service.

Do not use the platform to seek or provide instructions that facilitate imminent harm or unlawful conduct. If there is immediate danger or a medical, mental health, abuse-related, or other emergency, contact local emergency services or an appropriate qualified local resource. ContractMentor may preserve evidence and restrict access when necessary to respond to credible safety, abuse, fraud, or legal concerns.

Changes and contact

Material changes require a new governed suite version and renewed acceptance when appropriate. Questions about ContractMentor may be sent to hello@contractmentor.com. Legal notices and formal service instructions may require a separately designated address.
